The Tug Hill Black River Chapter of Trout Unlimited is a group of dedicated conservationists, anglers, and individuals committed to preserving and restoring the coldwater fisheries in the Black River-Tug Hill region.  We advocate for sustainable fishing and restoration of native species in our cold water habitats.  In addition we support educations thourgh outreach programs like Trout In the Classroom at local schools.  We are proud to support our veterans through our affiliation with local Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing programs in Watertown and Mexico, NY.  We provide timely feedback and information to the New York DEC in support of their efforts to maintain and restore our cold water fisheries.
